The SmartSolar MPPT 150/45 supports 12V, 24V, and 48V battery systems with automatic voltage detection, delivering 45A of rated charge current and handling up to 650W on 12V, 1,300W on 24V, and 2,600W on 48V systems. Its 150V maximum PV open circuit voltage provides broad solar panel array compatibility for mid to large off-grid installations.
An internal temperature sensor automatically compensates absorption and float charge voltages, while optional external battery voltage and temperature sensing is available via Bluetooth through a Smart Battery Sense or BMV-712 Smart Battery Monitor. The fanless design exceeds 98% peak efficiency with full rated output maintained up to 40°C.
Comprehensive electronic protection covers PV reverse polarity, PV reverse current, output short circuit, and over-temperature power derating for dependable long-term field performance.
