Ground Fault Protection
Ground fault protection is required by the 2008 NEC for all PV installations as a safety precaution. PV Ground Fault Breakers will disconnect the solar array if a ground fault occurs in the wiring therefore protecting against potential electrical fires. GFP's can be mounted within a Power Panel such as Midnite Solars E-panel or Outback FlexWare 500, 1000 and FlexOne Panels.
