Description
The Victron Energy Orion IP67 12/24-50A is a fully encapsulated, waterproof non-isolated DC-DC converter delivering 50A of continuous output current at 24V from a 12V input, with cast aluminium construction, IP67 protection, and 1.8m pre-attached input and output cables for reliable voltage conversion in marine, automotive, and industrial applications.

The Orion IP67 12/24-50A converts a 10–15VDC input to a regulated 24V ±3% output at up to 50A continuous with 96% efficiency, with under-voltage shutdown at 8V and automatic restart at 9V. Ripple and noise is rated at 150mVpp, and the unit draws only 45mA at no load.
The converter is short-circuit proof and connects via M6 bolt terminals for the input and output. Reverse polarity protection requires an external fuse or circuit breaker, which is not included. The cast aluminium blue RAL 5012 enclosure is rated IP67 and vibration tested to IEC 68-2-6 at 10–150Hz / 1.0G for vehicle and vessel installations.
