The BlueSolar 150/60's advanced Maximum Power Point Detection algorithm excels in partial shading conditions where conventional MPPT controllers tend to lock to suboptimal local power points. The innovative BlueSolar algorithm continuously scans and locks to the true optimum MPP, maximizing energy harvest throughout the day regardless of shading patterns or cloud movement. Built for professional installations, the BlueSolar 150/60 features extensive electronic protection including over-temperature protection with power derating, PV short circuit and reverse polarity protection, and PV reverse current protection.

The internal temperature sensor compensates absorption and float charge voltage for temperature changes (-16mV/-32mV/-64mV per °C depending on system voltage). Optional external battery voltage and temperature sensing via Bluetooth (using Smart Battery Sense or BMV-712 Smart Battery Monitor with VE.Direct Bluetooth Smart dongle) enables precise multi-controller operation in larger systems. The controller supports parallel operation (not synchronized) for scalable system designs.
