The Victron Energy Blue Smart IP65 Charger 24/8 is a Bluetooth-enabled 120V AC smart battery charger delivering 8A of charge current to 24V lead-acid and lithium battery banks from a standard US NEMA 1-15 plug.
As the highest-output model in the 24V Blue Smart IP65 120V range, the 24/8 is suited for larger 24V battery banks in marine, RV, and off-grid applications where the 24/5 would extend charge times unnecessarily. Rated IP65 for splash, dust, and chemical resistance, the Blue Smart IP65 24/8 is built for demanding environments where exposure to moisture and contaminants is a regular concern.
With up to 95% efficiency and only 0.5W standby consumption, the Blue Smart IP65 24/8 generates significantly less heat than conventional chargers while delivering reliable, precisely controlled charging across lead-acid and lithium battery chemistries.

The Blue Smart IP65 24/8 measures ambient temperature during the test phase and applies automatic temperature compensation throughout the charge cycle at -32mV/°C for lead-acid batteries, eliminating the need for manual seasonal adjustments in cold or hot environments. The charger delivers full rated 8A output up to 30°C ambient, with output current automatically reducing as temperatures rise toward the 60°C maximum operating limit — protecting the charger without shutting it down. The optional Recondition stage applies a higher-voltage, low-current charge to help reverse sulfation in lead-acid batteries that have been left deeply discharged or insufficiently charged over extended periods.
In automatic power supply mode, the Blue Smart IP65 24/8 can be used as a regulated 24V DC power supply for loads directly connected to the battery terminals, making it a practical dual-purpose tool in workshop and service environments. Included in the box are M8 eyelet connectors and a 2-meter extension cable; optional accessories available separately include battery clamps, fused clamps, fused M6 or M8 eyelets, an Autoplug, a battery indicator panel, a battery indicator eyelet M8, a carry case, a wall mount, and a rubber bumper.
