The Victron Energy SmartSolar MPPT 150/45 is a premium Bluetooth-enabled solar charge controller that delivers ultrafast maximum power point tracking, built-in wireless monitoring, and advanced partial shading detection for maximum energy harvest in any condition.

The SmartSolar MPPT 150/45 supports 12V, 24V, and 48V battery systems with automatic voltage selection, delivering up to 45A of charge current and handling up to 2,600W of PV power on 48V systems. Its 150V maximum PV open circuit voltage provides broad solar panel array compatibility.
The internal temperature sensor automatically compensates absorption and float charge voltages for temperature, while optional external battery voltage and temperature sensing via Bluetooth is available through a Smart Battery Sense or BMV-712 Smart Battery Monitor. Up to 46 days of trend data is stored onboard covering battery voltage, current, temperature, load output, PV voltage, and PV current.
Built with comprehensive electronic protection including PV reverse polarity, reverse current, output short circuit, and over-temperature derating, this controller is engineered for reliable long-term operation. The IP43-rated enclosure and -30°C to +60°C operating range make it suitable for demanding field installations worldwide.
