The SR-5 is a slim, 2-inch submersible helical-rotor (progressive-cavity) pump engineered for reliable solar water delivery from narrow wells and sand-points where suction pumps can’t reach. Its positive-displacement rotor/stator generates high pressure at low RPM, so it begins producing water early, runs efficiently through low-irradiance hours, and maintains steady flow as total dynamic head increases.

The SR-5’s stainless construction, single moving part, and fully rebuildable design make it a field-serviceable workhorse for ranch tanks, wildlife waterers, off-grid cabins, and remote homesteads. Powered by a matched SunRotor DC controller, it accepts solar, battery, or hybrid input and supports multiple array options, letting you tailor lift/flow for your site while protecting the motor with proper soft start, current limiting, and dry-run safeguards. A

standard 3/4" FNPT outlet, wide input-voltage window, and conservative thermal protection round out a pump built for uptime and low lifetime cost.
