Description

The Sun Xtender PVX-6720T is a 2-volt valve-regulated lead-acid (VRLA) AGM deep-cycle solar battery cell designed for large-scale stationary battery banks in off-grid and grid-tied solar and wind energy storage systems, commercial and industrial installations, cathodic protection, SCADA and RTU infrastructure, island power systems, and remote telecommunications applications.

A division of Concorde Battery Corp. — an industry pioneer in VRLA-AGM battery design since 1987 — Sun Xtender engineered the PVX-6720T on the BCI Group GC2 platform, making it the only 2-volt cell in the Sun Xtender lineup housed in this case size. At 672Ah at the 24-hour rate, the PVX-6720T is a direct sealed AGM replacement for conventional flooded 2V GC2 cells in existing enclosures — eliminating watering, terminal corrosion, and hazardous hydrogen venting without requiring any rack or cabinet modification.
