Description
A rugged, field-proven manual transfer solution for small backup, hybrid, and renewable systems that need a clean, code-friendly way to select between two AC sources. The MNTRANSFER-60A mounts in MidNite’s compact “Big Baby” steel enclosure and uses two mechanically interlocked 2-pole breakers to switch both hot legs of a 120/240 V split-phase service—preventing backfeed and making source selection unambiguous.
A front interlock plate with clear UTILITY ↔ GENERATOR/INVERTER labeling simplifies operation, while the included neutral bus and hefty ground terminal keep terminations tidy. With #6 AWG max conductors, ETL listing (US/Canada), and a 5-year warranty, it’s ideal for transferring a critical-loads sub-panel, selecting an inverter’s AC input between grid and generator, or providing a safe, visible means of isolation during service.
The indoor Type 1 enclosure, knockout pattern, and straightforward layout make installation fast and inspection-friendly.
