1) What is the procedure for warranty. Do you send a repair person to location or is removal of the unit required for shipping back for repair? Who pays for shipping etc.
Ans. If there is a local repair person available, we pay the local service guy to repair the unit, although we do have a ceiling. We cannot pay service guy more than the replacement shipping cost of another unit. If we bring the unit back to repair, we will pays for the freight, unless it is an exceptional long distance, we would just have a local repair guy repair the unit at our expense. It all base on the situation and quote.
2) Has the electrical usage been certified do you have copy of the certificate?
Ans. We have the electrical usage, but it is not certified.
3) Could you confirm insulation thickness used in the Upright units I know the chest use 4.5"
Ans. The refrigerator area is 1.5 in. the freezer area is 2.6in.
4) What does direct cooling mean?
Ans. Direct cooling means no forced air cooling method, it would also be classed as still air cooling.
5) Are there fans on the inside or on the compressor?
Ans. No fans in the compressor or on the compressor, the small fan is just a small condenser fan, to cool the condenser.
6) What clearances are required around unit?
Ans. very minimal clearance needed 1 inch clearance is going to be suitable.
7) Do you have a detailed installation manual?
Ans. We have a owners manual for the appliance, which also explains the installation, but we also have a separate installation manual for installing solar kits which we can provide when customer buy the solar kits.
8) What kind of compressor do you use, make, type etc.?
Ans. AFGR compressor high performance marine duty compressors
9) Approx cost to ship to address within lower 50 states? from $175-$250
