The
Solar Store Shipping Policy
Shipping costs are based
on pricing and weight. We use FedEx Ground or UPS and Freight
Shipping, which ever is best for the product you have ordered. Next Day Air and 2nd Day Air orders are generally shipped the same day order is placed if received before noon PST. All other shipping methods generally ship within 24-48 hours. Customers shipping outside the US are responsible for all taxes, custom and brokerage fees. Any items returned to us due to failure of customer to pay import duties or taxes or cancellation of order after product has shipped will be charged a 20% restock fee, return shipping fee and original shipping charges will not be refunded.
Shipping costs for freight shipments calculated by the shopping
cart are estimates only. If the shipping costs differs from what
the shopping cart calculates we will contact you with the
accurate cost before we process your order.
Most
orders will be delivered within 7-14 business days. Due to the
nature of our products we cannot guarantee any delivery dates. If
you have not received your product within 14 days, be assured we
are still working to ship the item as fast as possible.
The
Solar Store Product Return Policy
No returns will be
accepted without prior authorization and must include the RMA
number. Any product that is returned must be brand new, in
excellent condition and packaged in the original manufacturers
carton with all corresponding hardware and documentation. Returns
must be shipped with prepaid freight and insured via the carrier
of you choice to arrive back at The Solar Store within 30 days of
delivery.
Shipping charges will not be refunded, unless,
an error was made by The Solar Store in shipping. Before
returning an item, you must have a Return Material Authorization
(RMA) number.
All returns are subject to a 20 percent
restocking fee.
Because of the customization involved,
trackers and mounts are non-returnable. Returns for
refurbished equipment will not be accepted and should be
processed through the manufacturer directly. Most refurbished
equipment carries a manufacturers warranty.
No returns will be accepted on installed items.
No returns will be accepted beyond 30 days of original
delivery.
The value and cost of replacing any items
missing e.g. parts, manuals, etc. will be deducted from the
refund. Returns must be shipped with prepaid freight and insured
via the carrier of you choice to arrive back at The Solar Store
within 30 days of delivery.
What is the warranty policy
for The Solar Store ? All of The Solar Store products
are covered by the original manufacturers warranty. If you need
help getting in touch with the manufacturer or are not sure what
your warranty limitations are, you can read our returns
information. If that does not answer your questions, please
contact our customer service department.
Warranty
Policy - Please contact the manufacturers customer service
number to obtain warranty repair service. Check the manual or
instructions that accompanied your product for updated
information. Most manufacturers require the following
information:
1.
Serial number of the item
2. Purchase date 3.
Warning, Error or Panel Fault Message
4. Description of the problem
The
manufacturer will provide troubleshooting and or warranty service
for your product.
How
do I obtain an RMA number? RMA Request Procedure - Please
contact the The Solar Store with your
return request and an explanation for the return.
I
received a damaged item, what do I do? Although most
shipments are received in perfect condition, please carefully
inspect all packages for damage. If damage is visible, reject the
shipment, be sure the driver notates the damage and contact The
Solar Store within 24 hours. Please contact immediately to
initiate a claim. We will file a damage claim with the shipper
and ship a replacement as soon as possible. You will not be
charged any additional shipping or handling fees for replacement
shipments. |
