We are proud to present this solar tracking RV system. Finally RV's can utilize the full potential of their solar panels. Most RV solar panels are mounted flat on the roof which decreases solar panel output by as much as 80% depending on the season. Even if you have an adjustable mount you still have to climb onto the roof to adjust and then you have to orientate your rig to face the panels south. With our system you can park in any direction, simply press a remote control button and the panels raise up to 45 degrees, press another button and the panels rotate to face the sun and thats it. The panels will continue to follow the sun all day long and by the next morning the panels are ready to meet the sun again.
All mounting hardware included:
High Polished Stainless Steel Frame, Rotating motor, Riser motor, 40' of wire,
Remote, Mounting hardware Owner's/Installation
Requires a space of approx. 34" radius, will clear most standard RV vents and sun roofs.
12 Month Warranty.
PV Panels not included.
The Solar RV Tracker is the 1st and Only Automatic solar tracking system for RV’s in the World. The Sun Tracker automatically tracks the sun to provide you with the most power possible from your solar panels. The Solar RV Tracker rotates 360° to allow you to park your RV in Any direction and capture the most power for your RV. The Solar RV Tracker elevates to Any angle up to 45° (which is the highest angle you need for any location at any time of the year) and Every angle down to 0°. This is important for different locations and different times of the year.
They designed the RV Solar Tracker with ease of use and durability in mind. In development of the RV Solar Tracker we had to consider wind. In the fully raised position, it is a large sail on your roof. The system is designed to withstand 55 MPH winds without spinning or stopping it. However let say that you get a microburst wind, 60-70 MPH. What could happen is the wind could spin the Sun Tracker, either forwards or backwards depending on the direction of the wind. Don't worry because we designed a "slip clutch" in the lower rotating motor. So if you get winds in excess of 55 MPH you may have to realign the Solar Tracker but, it does no damage to the system. We recommend to our customers that if they get a weather report and it says you will have high winds, just lower the Solar Tracker, just like you do your awnings.
The Solar Tracker has 2 motors. The riser motor; this makes the solar panels raise and lower. And a rotating motor; this makes the solar panels go round and round. Both motors are internally lubed with lubricant that withstands temperatures from 40 degrees Below Zero up to 140 degrees Above Zero. So you can camp in any locations without the fear of the motors seizing up. There are no zerk fittings on the motors they are fully sealed.
