This unit is very easy to install, I replaced a failed xantrex unit with the Apollo TSW4048 at half the price. I am using it as a split phase 230 vac, 60 hz, remote cabin power source with 8 each, Rolls Surrett S530 batteries, for 48vdc array. The unit appears to be solid, fast switching and accurate as a bulk, assorb, float charger. This store is great to work with, and delivers product and support very fast and great tech support from the factory. The unit has an internal 50/60 hz selector switch. With the AIM software & usb to RS485 drivers it is easy to program the config & parameters you must have the converter drivers to do so. The documentation is somewhat limited that it comes with, but addition info. is readily available on-line at Apollos website and thru support. The only issue I see is if the invertor is in charge mode and you shutdown the generator without disconnecting the power to the inverter first, the invertor tries to follow the voltage down and brings up a fault light.
